Project Brief

I find the creation of content to be particularly fulfilling, especially if it’s on the  visual side of things. While I realize digital advertising does not call for creating art pieces and, instead, something that facilitates conversions, visual content still needs to be easy on the eyes.

In working as a digital marketer, some of the visual content I’ve created includes the following: ad images, infographics, website banners, presentation graphics, and even video advertisements. In my eyes, once you become familiar with the tools to produce such content, it’s just a matter of executing your vision. I will reiterate, though, that reinventing the wheel is far from best practices. My strategy is to take inspiration from what is proven to work.

For context, I obtained initial proficiency in the tools listed above from a past endeavor. This endeavor was a print-on-demand store where I made myself responsible for making the designs that were to be available on a range of products. Additionally, I ran a social media page for this store in which I’d post some of my designs (or additional content).

Fulfilling my current role, I’ve been tasked with creating visual content strictly for digital advertising purposes. Among the two pieces I am most proud of is an infographic for a home automation company and a YouTube ad for a guitar retailer created in Adobe After Effects.
